Pedestrian Mobility Switzerland is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. A variety of projects, initiatives, and events are being held to mark this milestone.
The committed members of our regional groups and sections have prepared for walks in their region, which they find particularly interesting. These are not tourist walks, but less well-known routes or paths with special characteristics: hidden neighborhood gems, little-known connections, low-traffic paths, walks without crossing the street, etc.
Enjoy walking and let yourself be surprised! Interested in discovery more walks near you? All of our walks can also be found on Komoot (German).
The walk through Zurich’s Kreis 5 leads us from the quiet X-ray station on the former railway route to the viaducts that have shaped the development of the city. Along the viaduct arches we stroll to the first Schwammstadt-Strasse in Zurich. And finally, we learn what we actually know: a sidewalk is not a bike path!
